Protecting your data matters to us. MyPowerTennis is built so that your swing and training data stay on your Apple devices by default. We run no servers of our own, use no advertising or tracking tools, and do not sell data.

To measure and analyse your strokes, the app processes motion data from the Apple Watch (acceleration and rotation rate via Core Motion). From this it computes metrics such as swing speed, impact timing, stroke type, spin tendency, swing path and the precision score. These results are stored as a session, together with a timestamp and – if you set one – a player name.
This data is stored locally on your device (app database). No registration or user account is required.
If you have enabled iCloud for MyPowerTennis in your system settings, your sessions are synced across your own Apple devices via your private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit). This data resides in your personal iCloud area; we as the provider have no access to it. Apple's privacy terms apply in addition. Without iCloud enabled, the data remains solely on the respective device.
You can export sessions yourself as CSV, PDF or JSON and share them via the iOS share sheet. What you share, when and with whom is entirely your decision.
The app integrates no third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising or tracking. No cross-device tracking takes place.
On this website we use the privacy-friendly web analytics service Umami (Umami Software, Inc.) in its cloud version. Umami uses no cookies and creates no cross-device profiles; IP addresses are not stored. Only anonymised usage data is collected (e.g. pages visited, country of origin, device type, referrer) that cannot be attributed to any person. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in reach-related analysis of our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
If you contact us by email, we process the information you provide (e.g. email address, device details) solely to handle your request. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The app is downloaded via the Apple App Store. Apple processes data under its own responsibility, which we have no influence over. Apple's privacy terms apply.
Local session data is kept until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app. Data synced to iCloud is managed through your iCloud settings.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Because your data is held on your devices or in your iCloud, you can view, export and delete it yourself at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Austria: Austrian Data Protection Authority, www.dsb.gv.at).
We update this privacy policy when the app or the legal situation changes. The current version is always available at this address.
